Living Green provides the following free, public workshops:

Energy and Water Conservation

If you want to reduce your energy and water bills, this workshop is for you! Those who attend this workshop will learn low-cost, no-cost methods to bring down your bills and help the environment at the same time. Participants will receive a small energy handbook and resource booklets. For those who qualify, you are provided a SNAP Energy Conservation Kit.

Healthy Homes

Do you or someone you know suffer from severe allergies? There is compelling research that connects the health of our home to those who live in them. Come find out what you can do to ensure that you have a healthy home. Participants will receive a healthy homes kit and resource materials.

Do-It-Yourself Minor Home Repairs

This workshop is designed for those who have little experience with basic home repairs. Learn from SNAP’s Home Weatherization staff the proper methods and tools of the trade needed to perform repairs like a pro. Participants will receive a reference booklet to perform repairs in their home.

Beyond Waste

Learn what you and your family can do to reduce the waste in your home. You will be reducing, reusing and recycling in no time! Save money and the environment by attending this workshop.
